Our Mission
The Sam Davey Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) brings families, teachers, staff, and community members together with a shared purpose: supporting students and helping every child reach their full potential.
We work in partnership with Sam Davey Elementary in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to strengthen the connection between home and school, encourage family involvement, and create a welcoming community where students can thrive.
Stronger Together for Our Kids
A school is more than a place to learn. It is a community of people who care about our children’s growth, friendships, and sense of belonging. The PTA gives that community a way to come together, share ideas, and turn a willingness to help into action.
From helping organize family events to connecting volunteers with opportunities to serve, our work is rooted in partnership. Families bring valuable perspectives, educators bring insight into student needs, and community supporters bring encouragement and resources. Together, we can enrich the school experience for our kids.
Connected Locally, Supported Nationally
Our PTA is affiliated with the Wisconsin PTA and National PTA. These connections give our school community access to resources beyond our own building and connect us with a broader network dedicated to children and families. Membership in our local PTA also includes membership in the state and national organizations.
There Is a Place for You Here
Whether you are new to Sam Davey or have been part of the school for years, your perspective matters. Parents, caregivers, grandparents, teachers, staff, and community supporters all have something to contribute.
You do not need a special skill or a large amount of free time to make a difference. Start by attending a meeting, sharing an idea, helping with an event, or staying informed. Small contributions add up to a stronger school community.
What the PTA Does
- Builds community. Helps bring families together through special events and shared experiences that create lasting school memories.
- Encourages family involvement. Creates opportunities for families to share ideas, ask questions, and take an active role in school life.
- Connects volunteers. Helps match willing hands and talents with opportunities to support students, staff, and PTA activities.
- Partners with school staff. Works with educators and families to understand needs and explore ways our community can help.
- Keeps families informed. Shares updates, reminders, and opportunities to stay connected throughout the school year.
